PROTON unveils EMAS compact low-environmental-impact cars
PROTON has unveiled a series of concept global cars at the 80th International Geneva Motor Show. The three concept global cars, EMAS, EMAS Country and EMAS3, signal PROTON's long-term plan to expand its footprint within the global automotive market. EMAS, which means gold in the Malay language, stands for Eco Mobility Advance Solution, and is the result of a joint collaboration between PROTON, its subsidiary Lotus, and Italian design house Italdesign Giugiaro (IDG). Porsche have developed the new 911 Turbo S in response to customer demand for greater power, performance and driving dynamics. Building on the success and reputation of the revered 911 Turbo, at the heart of this most exclusive high-performance athlete is a six-cylinder ‘boxer’ engine boosted by two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry. BMW upgrades BMW X5's engine and design
BMW’s BMW X5 will receive an array of design and engine changes offering even greater performance and lower emissions, whilst also updating its look. Three new engines will be launched for the xDrive30d, xDrive40d – replacing the xDrive35d – and the xDrive50i – replacing the xDrive48i. All of the new powerplants now meet EU5 standards. Infiniti introduces FX Limited Edition
Infiniti has introduced a special, limited production versions of the FX37S and FX50S to be called, simply, the FX Limited Edition. Availability has been strictly limited to just 100 units across Western Europe, of which only 18 will be coming to the UK. All will be individually numbered. Based on the FX37S and FX50S, the FX Limited Edition features striking Black Obsidian ‘Scratch Guard’ paintwork as standard, with equally distinctive Moonlight White pearl metallic available as an option. Chevrolet's Cruze 2.0 VCDi LT now available with automatic gearbox
Buyers of Chevrolet’s Cruze 2.0 VCDi LT can now take advantage of an automatic gearbox.
