Child killed in wreck
A 5-year-old child died Tuesday after the sport utility vehicle she was riding in collided with an 18-wheeler. The accident happened at about 7:15 a.m. on the northbound on-ramp at the 205 Collinsville exit on Interstate 59, according to Collinsville Police Chief Gary Bowen.
