Volvo achieves high scores in the latest Thatcham whiplash ratings
Volvo has achieved high scores across its model range in the latest whiplash ratings by the UK’s Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre, Thatcham. Thatcham has been testing seats since 2004 for their ability to protect the occupant from whiplash injuries. Fuel duty rebate for biofuels to expire from 2010
The Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation Programme will, from April 2008, place an obligation on fuel suppliers to ensure that a certain percentage of their aggregate sales is made up of biofuels. The effect of this will be to require 5% of all UK fuel sold on UK forecourts to come from a renewable source by 2010. Saab’s latest concept car, the 9-X BioHybrid has been named “Best Concept” at the Geneva Motor Show.
