Porsche to make 918 Spyder plug-in hybrid
FRANKFURT - German sports car maker Porsche will build a limited series of exclusive super-sports cars powered by both a petrol engine and an electric motor, the company said on Wednesday.

Porsche's supervisory board has given the go-ahead for the 918 Spyder concept car shown at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The 918 is a mid-engined plug-in hybrid that has the potential to deliver CO2 emissions of just 70g/km, better than any standard model on sale in the UK today.

Porsche unveils new rides on the block
Porsche has added two entry-level cars to its touring car range – the Panamera and Panamera 4. Both feature 300-horsepower V6 engines. The Panamera is driven through the rear wheels while the Panamera 4 comes as standard with all-wheel drive.
