Nissan Motor Co. Ltd has announced that global sales of its CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) equipped vehicles topped one million with sales of 1,088,000 in fiscal year 2007, accomplishing the target set under the Nissan Green Program 2010 mid-term environmental plan. Nissan’s year has got off to a strong start, with sales of cars and light commercial vehicles during the first three months of 2008 up 36 per cent.
