Euro Car Parts wins contract to supply RAC Patrols with parts and consumables
With over 2,000 Patrol vans, RAC needs a fast supply of all types of parts for any vehicle, so that urgent repairs can be carried out at the roadside.
RAC Motoring Services has appointed Euro Car Parts as the supplier of replacement parts and batteries to its Patrols nationwide. This contract was formerly held by Unipart Automotive and is worth up to £10m a year.
Mark Johnson, parts, tools and equipment manager at RAC, commented: “Euro Car Parts will provide the availability of parts to further improve our industry-leading roadside repair rate. We are particularly impressed with their huge stock range, sourced from major OE parts manufacturers including many products generally regarded as ‘main-dealer only’.”
ECP Director David Bevan added: “We are extremely proud to have this opportunity to support the excellent service that RAC provides to its members.”
