Peugeot's new 125cc Vivacity scooter is an economical alternative to the car for commuters
Designed for adult urban riders, Peugeot's new 125cc Vivacity scooter is a stylish, economical and environmentally friendly alternative to the car for city-dwellers and commuters alike.
Powered by a torquey 125cc 4-stroke motor that produces 8.5 bhp, the Vivacity’s twist and go transmission makes it quick off the mark and it is ideal for anyone travelling into, out of or around town. Capable of returning over 80mpg and emitting approximately 30% less CO2 than most small cars, the Vivacity 125 is kind to both the environment and the wallet.
Just 690mm wide, the Vivacity 125 can filter through city traffic with ease and squeeze into the tightest parking spots. It combines an easily accessible flat foot well, with low seat height (790mm) and generous leg room, (440mm between seat and floor), making the Vivacity 125 comfortable for riders of all sizes.
Hydraulic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers ensure a smooth and comfortable ride while the 12” alloy wheels with sports profile tyres provide sure-footed handling. Stopping power is delivered by a combination of 200mm dual piston caliper disc brake up front and 130mm rear drum brake.
With a 22-litre storage bay beneath the seat and a 13-litre compartment in the front there is plenty of carrying capacity, supplemented by a bag hook in the foot well, and Peugeot thoughtfully included a 12v power output for charging accessories on the move. Available in Black, White, Cream and Red, the Vivacity 125 retails for a competitive £1999 and is covered by a 24-month warranty. Price includes manufacturer's delivery, pre delivery inspection, fuel, number plate and VAT at 17.5%. Government first registration fee and vehicle excise duty are not included and will be charged at the prevailing rate.
