Motorcycle sales in September dropped by 9.7 per cent – less than half the 21.2 per cent monthly decline recorded by the UK car industry. Suzuki has unveiled an all-new GSX-R1000 K9 Supersport model, alongside the new Gladius 650 and Intruder 1500 models. Swift Global Production Exceeds One Million Units(21/08/2008)
Suzuki launched the Swift less than four years ago. Global production has recently passed the one million mark. Vehicles sold in Europe are built at Suzuki’s plant in Hungary which has so far contributed more than 306,000 to the total. Since launch in the UK, over 36,500 Swifts have been sold and it accounts for around 50 per cent of the sales mix. New Suzuki Swift 1.3-litre DDiS with 119g/km CO2 rating(23/04/2008)
The Suzuki Swift 1.3-litre DDiS model are now better off thanks to the latest revision in engine emissions. The CO2 rating has been reduced from 124g/km to just 119g/km which places the model in the ‘B’ Band VED rating and an annual charge of just £35 per year, a saving of £80.
