SEAT is working on its first electric car designed, developed and manufactured in Spain. The firm is unveiling the prototype Altea XL Electric Ecomotive, a totally electrically-driven zero-emissions car, as well as the prototype Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive, a plug-in hybrid. SEAT has launched a brace of impressive new engines in its Ibiza, Leon and Altea best-selling models. The Ibiza, in all three bodystyles – SC, 5dr and ST – is now available with a new 105 PS 1.2 TSI unit, mated either to a five-speed manual gearbox or seven-speed DSG with double clutch.
