Following the best sales figures in the history of Mercedes-Benz, the luxury car maker is expecting to boost sales even further in 2008. Diesel engines accounted for 57 per cent of all Mercedes-Benz models registered in 2007. The figure represents an increase from last year’s proportion of 51 per cent and is way up on the 22 per cent registered in 2000.
