Mazda has started public road trials of its advanced safety vehicle, Mazda ASV-4. The system uses vehicle-to-vehicle communications to alert drivers of oncoming vehicles at blind intersections or on twisting roads where visibility is limited. The aim is to lessen the severity of - or even eliminate - two-vehicle collisions at blind intersections, rear-end collisions and accidents when a vehicle turns right by reducing driver error. Mazda reports 32 percent increase in sales in February(14/03/2008)
Mazda has reported that its sales across Europe leapt by 32 percent during February to total 27,300 units, which represents a rise of 6,600 units over 2007.
