Peugeot: Rental car impacts future car buying decision

Avis has surveyed more than 2,500 renters in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. This survey has revealed the true impact on a driver’s future new car purchase each time they get behind the wheel of a daily rental car. Each renter had a high degree of car ownership, with 75% of UK drivers owning two cars per household rising to 83% amongst French drivers. Ferrari has signed an agreement for the opening of the first Ferrari Store in the British market. A report from King’s College never publicly released by Transport for London (TfL) reveals that Mayor Ken Livingstone’s new emissions-related congestion charge is estimated by TfL’s own consultants to increase CO2 in Greater London by 182,000 tonnes.
