Koelliker: SsangYong cuts parts prices cut by 40 per cent

Costs of owning a SsangYong Kyron, Rexton and Rodius have been slashed with parts prices cut by an average of 40 per cent. And at the same time, menu servicing has been introduced to ensure that costs of ownership remain competitive. A Kyron oil filter has dropped in price from over £30 to £12.68, while Rodius front brake pads are now £39.89 – down from £68.40. A Rexton alternator has been reduced by £100. Kumho has displayed 30 products including a new eco-friendly tyre, SOLUS KH19, at REIFEN 2008, Essen, Germany, last week. Kia: Kia increases Carens MPV range

Kia Motors have added a seven seater 2.0 petrol LS derivative to their Carens MPV range. The 2.0 litre 142bhp petrol unit comes married to either a five speed manual or four speed automatic transmission. This MPV benefits from many of the existing features of the LS high level spec. With a top speed of 112mph the automatic transmission produces 189Nm of torque and accelerates from 0-62mph in 11.9 seconds.
