The Citroën Relay’s unique combination of environmental and operational benefits has convinced EAE Ltd to convert its 21-strong fleet of large vans. The Edinburgh based company has initially ordered four Relay 35 L3H2 and three Relay 30 L1H1 100 panel vans with a similar number scheduled for delivery next year. EDF Energy: Toyota Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle's average fuel consumption is 27 per cent better than an equivalent diesel car

Working in partnership with EDF Energy, Toyota has leased 20 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) to London-based businesses and organisations to monitor both vehicle performance and recharging patterns. Based on the third-generation Prius, the PHEV is equipped with a lithium-ion battery that lets the car be driven for longer distances and at higher speeds on electric power alone. Elephant: Young men have more expensive car crashes

New research from Elephant.co.uk has revealed that while many men like to think they are the superior gender when it comes to driving, men actually have bigger crashes that cost more money than women. Looking at more than 200,000 claims, Elephant.co.uk found accidents involving men aged under 25 cost on average 15% more than those involving women of the same age.
